Is It Kidnapping?

This is an interesting story. 23 Americans who worked for the CIA and the Air Force were convicted in an Italian court for kidnapping a terrorism suspect and illegally transporting him to Egypt where they allegedly tortured him. The CIA has done this since the Clinton administration but their frequency increased during the Bush administration.

The Italian government tried this case to send a message to the US and others who do this that they disagree with the tactics.

The lawyer in the case said, "This decision sends a clear message to all governments that even in the fight against terrorism you can't forsake the basic rights of our democracies." - Armando Spataro, deputy public prosecutor in Milan, Italy,

What do you think? Is the actions of the US just as bad as others who kidnap people and take them to other countries? Or does the threat of terror justify us going around the justice system of another country? Should the fact that we follow Christ make a difference in our support or disapproval of these tactics? Leave comments with your thoughts.

i think that it is worse that the US would do this. US is supposed to be higher than others. but here we just lower ourselves to the terrorist standards.
