War Crimes

Here is another story that is in the news now. You may know that Israel has been in constant conflict with the Palestinians, who also live in that small region of the world. Recently, the United Nations filled a report wanting to charge some Israeli soldiers with war crimes that were supposedly committed last spring. The Prime Minister of Israel is blocking those from being tried, however. This is an example of cover of authority, one of the weapons of oppression we mentioned on Sunday.

By they way, prior to the creation of the nation of Israel in 1948, Palestine was mostly Christian, not Muslim. In the 51 years many of the Palestinians killed by the Israeli army were peaceful, Christian citizens.
